It’s interesting that religious persecution never seems to happen concerning things that are demonstrably true or false. Flat-earthers are pitied, not persecuted.

One of my favorite quotes these days on “persecution” is from the Rev. Susan Russell at All Saints Episcopal in Pasadena, CA. Rev. Susan has made the point over and over during discussions with put-upon “conservatives” that being disagreed with is not the same as being persecuted 😉
