What kind of sin is homosexuality, anyway, if it is? I can understand sin as rape; I can understand that it might portray selfishness; It might not be the proper use of excess. But these are things that have been liberated in Christ.
Christ did make some things tougher. We should not be merely outwardly repentant, but inwardly. Alas, it is the wicked who know this better than the righteous.
But as far as repenting before entering the kingdom, it might be that gay people repent by having holy, physical relationships, rather than living out lives that are destructive of themselves and Gods will for them. Repentance might merely mean accepting your life as a gift.
