Sometimes I wonder whether evil is an outmoded concept, whether it’s "just a cost of doing business" for God’s continuing creative efforts, something that won’t matter in the very long run, in the indescribable goodness that he is making.
And then I read articles like this one in today’s NY Times, about elder abuse and a drug addict who preyed on his elderly aunts.
