Why Houston Has Better Weather Than San Diego

It’s a beautiful day in Houston.  For the first time in months, mid-day temperatures are in the mid-70s.  The humidity is low.

I’ve lived in California, both in the Bay Area and in San Diego.  I love the place.  But I maintain that Houston has the better weather.

What an idiot, you think.  Wait, hear me out:

  • In Houston, when we get a day like today, we appreciate it.
  • In San Diego, days like today aren’t even noticed.

Consequently, we Houstonians derive more psychic income from our (admittedly-few) spectacular days than do those ingrates out west.

Amen to that, D.C., especially when the air conditioner in your car is broken. I thought the cool front would never arrive.
Just wanted you to know I’m still reading your blog and appreciate your thoughts expressed here in your journey of faith and discovery.

    DC,
I’ve lived in Wyoming and Colorado, but I’ve spent significant time in Houston, Lafayette (Louisiana), Seoul (Korea), Palo Alto, Hong Kong, and quite a few other places. I recently moved to Rancho Santa Margarita in sunny Orange County, Southern California.
With all due respect, I think that the weather in Houston has caused you to start hallucinating. Get a grip, man!

Well then, I guess we’re positively *glowing* with psychic income here in Maine.
Thanks QC. I’ve enjoyed being challenged by your blog this evening.
