Credit Card Companies: Keep Track of Sales Tax, Please

This is the time of year I have to add up the sales taxes my family paid in the previous year, because they’re tax-deductible (given that I live in the Lone Star State).  That’s something I wish the credit card companies would do for me.  American Express already sends me a consolidated, categorized report every year, showing every purchase made on my wife’s and my AmEx cards.  I doubt it would be much trouble for them to capture and report on the sale tax I paid, too.
