Household Bills via RSS Feed, Please

I signed up to get most of my family’s household bills delivered electronically.  Typically, evey month I get an email from, say, the phone company, telling me I can download my latest account statement in PDF form by clicking on a link.  I then have to download the PDF file, remember where I set up the file to save it, and save it to disk.

What I’d really like is to get my bills via RSS feeds.  I mean the actual bills themselves, not just a notice that they’re ready.  It would work something like this:  In my feed-reading software, I’d set up folders for AT&T, Reliant Energy, the city water bill, etc.  Then every month, the bills would be automatically downloaded and filed.

Vendors, are you listening?

    Umm.
Don’t Americans pay their utility bills automatically by direct debit, like Europeans do?

Of course. But I’d like to get the statements (I guess that’s a more accurate term than “bills”) automatically, so I don’t have to manually do the work of filing them every month.
