Plenty of others have commented at length about the ABC’s “reflection” on relegating wayward churches (like the Episcopal Church) to second-class status in the Anglican Communion. If you read this blog, you probably read others where you’ll find many and varied opinions.
My only thought is this: Let’s seize and embrace our second-class status; stamp the file “case closed”; and return to the business that Jesus commanded. Whoever wants to remain in communion with us is welcome to do so; whoever doesn’t, we’ll pray for them anyway.
