[T19 commenter Mark Johnson bitingly opines about traditionalists upset with the House of Bishops report:]
“. . . To be honest, I’m beginning to question if it might not be blog-hosts who are making more out of a situation that is there to begin with. Sure there’s a crisis, but are we on the edge of the apocalypse? I don’t know.
“What I do know is that spending 10 – 15 hours a day posting entries, or sending people masquerading as journalists to a HoB meeting, or belly-aching about what newspaper says what—none of that at the end of the day is going to do anything to spread the Gospel.
“It might be fun, it might let out some steam for those who for the first time in their lives find themselves to be a minority (not that much fun is it?), but it’s not going to tell anyone about Jesus. . . .”
