What I see in Christianity (some have called it “Churchianity") is more-or-less what I see in any fraternal or social group, both for good and ill. That’s fine as far as it goes, but when Christians start making claims of eternal truth and moral superiority (of doctrines, not necessarily of individual people), these claims will be judged by how different you are from everyone else, not how much like the rest of us you are.
Saying “we’re all sinners too” doesn’t excuse you; if your Christian belief hasn’t made you at least a different kind of sinner from the rest of us, what good is it?
